Title: Locked account?

I can't seem to log into my account. Pretty sure the password's correct and that I haven't been phished. I have ~18 bitcoins in there and an unfinalised order, but my biggest concern is that there's something strange going on with it!

Is there any way to regain access to the account?

contact Silk Road via here, since you can't get in. They should be able to help.

also are you sure it's not the captcha timing out?

I never go via hidden wiki - I have http://ianxz6zefk72ulzz.onion/index.php/silkroad/home bookmarked so I don't think I've been phished. I am slightly worried that it's something more sophisticated, like an exit node sniffing silkroad logins.

Have to be so careful with phishing scams these days, MTGOX gets hit HARD. Please be careful with all passwords and usernames and PLEASE USE PGP wherever possible!

look at Silk Road's login page for example.

They clearly know whats up

Keep a physical backup (encrypted file, encrypted portable drive, etc.) at a separate location so if you ever forget a password you can retrieve it on a short car-ride away.

Or use a keypass manager.....

I had the same issue this morning and was very concerned at first. After thinking about for a few hours, I realized that it was an issue with cookies.

For those of you using firefox and having this issue:
- Check to make sure you are allowing SR to use cookies
- File -> Preferences -> Privacy -> Exceptions -> add: http://ianxz6zefk72ulzz.onion

Somehow my cookie exceptions had gotten cleared and I needed to add it back in.
You should never accept cookies from sites by default; only add exceptions for cookies to those sites you trust.

Hope this helps for some of you..
