Title: Silk Road Capture FAIL

Does anyone else get 'log in failed' because of the capture. I've seen sites where the capture was 1+1. It doesn't have to be some case sensitive Sudoku puzzle dammit.

I like it the way it is.  To me it would be a ton harder for a bot to be able to do anything with...

it was agrivating for me also, but seems SR made it a lot easier to make out the captcha in the last few days.

The reason for such a difficult captcha is a security one.  Bruteforce attacks through TOR are impossible to ratelimit or detect without removing functionality from the entire site.  A difficult CAPTCHA easily mitigates such attacks, and the fact that the login warning message is ambiguous further confuses bots, as they do not know whether they got the password or CAPTCHA wrong and have the potential of skipping over the real password in a bruteforce attack.
