Title: TimeTraveler

I like the selection of buds very much.  I'd like to start the thread for future reviews.  Anyone know anything?

I don't think it reeks of bogus, but rather probably a new seller. I don't see any indication that he/she wants to sell outside of escrow, and therefore, no need to worry as a buyer. The biggest thing I worry about when buying from a new vendor is secure packaging and use of pgp. He/she already has a PGP key posted, so that's a good sign, and they have just posted 1/8 quantities which is needed to start out on SR.

Timetraveler, if you read this, I would suggest at least putting in your profile that you vac seal when shipping. If you don't vac seal, then I suggest you buy one and start, and if you're able to, you might want to sell smaller samples at cost to you to get your feedback up. Then you can sell your larger quantities after it's know that you're legit.

Thanks for the welcome wagon!  Ready to eat your words?

 :P

Gotta love those guys who instill fear and doubt from no experience whatsoever.

It's cool though, as a time traveler I already know what comes next, so im quite confident of the outcome.

As for the vacuum sealing , I have quite a bit more confidence in long term storage low permeability mylar bags than the freaking foodsaver bags most of the competition is using  ;D  Been there, done that , on to better things.

Guys with these new vendors it's not bad form to ask for a photo of their product with handwritten sign and dated to prove they have the products. Use your judgement. Be smart. Be Safe........research. :D

New seller TimeTraveler has a problem. His problem is peepscallmedrugbuyer. TimeTraveler is selling bud and meth, same goods as peeps. TimeTraveler has been a member for 3 days. I don’t want to spread lies but anyone can see where this might end up.

Peeps also sold bud which was reported to be good. Were those reviews false? No one reported getting burned on his bud, but maybe he didn’t have it at all and only used favorable false reviews of the one product to scam the meth.

Can you elaborate on the 'scam the meth' part?  I ordered and received meth from peeps, and as far as I know there were many others that received as well.  If you mean that it wasn't as potent as he claimed, I guess that's another issue.  I found I had to take SIGNIFICANTLY more than I anticipated to feel the effect I wanted, but I don't have experience with street meth.  For 130 a gram, this stuff should be right up there with the shit Walter White churns out (hah  ;D).

If that's your issue, maybe the buyers who bought meth from him could get together and talk about it, it certainly is possible that he doesn't do meth and assumed that since it looked so good (looked purrdy to me, but again I haven't dealt with it before) it must have been top shelf stuff.

Anyway sorry to sidetrack the thread.  In terms of absolute purity, what % of your product would you say is pure dextro-methampetamine, TimeTraveler?  Anyone want to give an educated guess/opinion on the quantitative purity peeps's stuff?

I agree.  It's certainly possible to have that range if it's coming from a dispensary or someone in the medicinal supply chain.  The photo with the sign is encouraging and those buds look great.  I'm anxious about receiving my anxiety relief.  ;D

i provide dcn by request, however , as I send these priority flat rate box with stamps, I cannot provide tracking, as I prefer not to show my face on camera every day at the post office. LOL.

I am previously set up on a number of other forums so I already have an established inventory, living, growing, and networking in a medical state does me much good.

I as well greatly look forward to getting feedback here :)  doing business here looks to have great promise.

No, I did not and I do not want tracking services on my packages from Silk Road for the reasons which TimeTraveler mentioned.  I want as little evidence of the transaction as is reasonable.
Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: Freeman on July 28, 2011, 11:45 pm
Day 3 since shipping notification and I haven't received anything yet.  I would expect it by now if sent via Priority Mail, but it's not unheard of.  I will say that I received my package from GreenCo in only 2 days and they're shipping from NorCal to the "Deep South" with non-priority shipping.  Still, 3 days isn't alarming at this point but I do expect it Saturday at the latest.  Later than that would be highly unusual for Priority Mail even if it was sent cross-country.

I placed an order about 24 hrs ago, still processing, good to hear from somebody else that he's on other forums too.

I like to give new sellers on SR benefit of the doubt, I'm sure they post stuff up, wonder if they'll ever even get any orders (since they don't have any feedback on the site yet), then orders start to trickle and then maybe even get slammed with orders out of nowhere after wondering if anybody will even order. Just a thought. I could be way off but I'm in deep thought mode right now.

Received my blueberry bud today!  ;D :D ;D

Shipping took 4 days from time of notification of shipping to receipt.  There was no smell and the packaging was well sealed.  One thing that I'd like to see improved is that the packaging was too large for the volume of buds so they shifted around in transit.  This resulted in some loose weed in the bottom of the packaging that rubbed off along with a lot of trichromes (kief) coating the packaging inside.  I love kief, but I want it on my buds not on my packaging.  Per my scale, I received .1-.3 over my ordered weight, which is ALWAYS appreciated

Now for the weed.  Blueberry is my favorite strain, but I've only had it once before, last Summer.  Needless to say, I was anxious to load my bowl and try this out.  The buds look nice altogether.  They are pretty light and airy buds with bright orange hairs and a dusting of frosty trichromes all over.  The smell is just slightly sweet with a kind of spiciness that gives some "bite" to the aroma.  The smoke is smooth but not particularly flavorful.  Exhaling gives a nice flavor on green hits, but it's not particularly tasty.  One note is that the buds are pretty dry.  I'm not sure if this is a result of the storage methods or the toll of transit.  Either way, the stuff still smokes nice.

The blueberry high is nice.  It really relieves my anxiety and stress.  The head high comes on first and is uplifting.  I was considering going back to bed for a nap, but now I feel more awake yet relaxed.  Although cerebral, there is no hyper giddiness or tension that can come from heavier sativa strains.  The best way to describe it is that I just feel "good".  My outlook is positive and I'm not worried about anything.  After the initial buzz, the head high settles a bit but the elevated mood is persistent.  Music appreciation is improved.  The body high becomes more apparent once the head comes down a bit.  It's pretty easy to work at the computer, but occasionally I get distracted by a runaway train of thought.

All-in-all this is still my favorite strain alongside LA Confidential.  I'm more than pleased with my purchase and I will certainly give TimeTraveler more business.  I'm very eager to try the NorthernBerry next!  :D

Mines been processing for 2 days which to me isn't a big deal, I don't really care as long as it gets here safely. And at least it's not being marked "in-transit" when it's really not.  Freeman, I'd be interested to know when yours was postmarked? Was it really sent the day it was marked in transit? Just curious.

As to the quality review...you review sounds about right with the pics TT posted. I checked the Blueberry pix out it looked very descent well worth the price TT is charging for an oz esp. A lot of the strains looked kinda fluffy, not that dense but hey to me, they were listed honestly. I opted for the power kush myself. This dude's menu makes me happy just lookin@it!

I bet it can make sellers a wee bit nervous, us analyzing and being critical of every little detail esp new sellers...knowing that everyone is watching you like a hawk and any mistake gets a spotlight on it has gotta be nerve wracking. But I'd say this seller was hit with some serious orders after a few people said they'd ordered and such so I'm not nervous or bummed in the slightest yet. I've had all my q's answered promptly. I've a feelin this will end in my favor I hope I'm right cause if so this guy has a custy outtta me!

Hey all, I'm new to the forums, but I wanted to let people know what's going on w/ my experience w/ Time Traveler. From what I've seen, he comes through w/ buds, but I ordered a gram of crystal from her/him over a week ago and haven't received anything yet. Time Traveler has not responded to any of my 3 messages either. I don't think Time Travelers trying to scam since s/he hasn't asked me to do anything out of escrow, but it seems to me that he may not have some of his items 'in stock.'

I'm hoping Time Traveler will be able to explain the situation when s/he sees this post. I haven't given up all hope yet, since either way I'll get my order or my coinage back, but so far I'm less than ecstatic with the service...

If anyone else has received their order for crystal please let me know. Will def let everyone know if me responds to my messages or if I receive my order.

As someone who has been watching TimeTraveler I'm going to go ahead and put in my two cents. The prices and selection are obviously great, but TimeTraveler seems to be sloppy at best, and a complete scam at worst. If I'm going to take the risk of buying I want to be as sure as possible that the seller can be trusted. Not just to send me the product, but to take their time packaging the product to keep me safe. There are a couple of red flags for me (aside from things just seeming to good to be true). First, he states earlier in this thread that he uses priority mail boxes with stamps. This is a bad idea and attracts attention to the package! Second, the spelling on his listings is horrible. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but if someone can't take the time to spell "ounce" correctly, I don't trust them to send me illicit goods across the country.

Damn I should just stop speculating and just go do some pushups.

First, he states earlier in this thread that he uses priority mail boxes with stamps. This is a bad idea and attracts attention to the package!

Not sure I follow this thinking. Pretty much every order I've gotten has been shipped prioity mail with stamps...how else should one do it? There's gotta be TONS of flat rate priority pkg's in the USPS system at any given time to me its the best way to go. I mean the only other way then using stamps is to actually go inside and pay for postage right so just curious why this is bad?

and mine looks like it was marked in transit the same you the rest of you guys so we are all in the same boat is seems.

I sent the following to TimeTraveler:

"In light of the lack of communication reported by other users, the fact that you did not ship within 24 hours as stated in your profile and the odd activity in pulling all of your listings, I've decided to cancel my orders until things seem more stable on your end."

I'll keep an eye out here for further feedback.  Hopefully everyone with outstanding orders receives them, but I just didn't want my btc tied up with a seemingly AWOL vendor while we all wait to see if he comes through.

Post by: Gordo on August 02, 2011, 03:04 am
Ok, I just read all that, but I think you're misreading it, it's great information but doesn't say anything about NOT using priority mail or stamps. (again what else would you use besides stamps?) It says in great detail: "Stop using Post Office red-white-and-blue Priority service mailers for First Class service....my heartburn isn’t the service or the mailer, the problem is using the Priority mailer in the wrong way."

It's a great point-don't use priority mail boxes/envelopes unless you are actually using that service....It means don't use a priority box for a 1st class service, use it for priority. If you don't, you'll have to deal the behind the counter clerk and they'll affix their own stickers and stamps (maybe that's what you mean) clearly marking it as such.

Here ya go: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=578.0

...and sorry to derail the thread but this is a very important point. Using your own stamps is VITAL and anyone who isn't doing this I'd be wary of.

Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: nomad bloodbath on August 02, 2011, 10:52 am
Just a note, i have no real idea about TimeTraveler but if a vendor doesnt visit the site for like 48 hours or some set time all items get pulled from the menu, so that's why things probably got delisted. It's the automatic vacation mode feature on Silk Road.

Also yes using the free priority mail envelops without getting a priority stamp from the post office is very foolish.
Also new vendors you don't have to ship product face to face with a usps clerk, you can just randomly walk into any post office and purchase a priority stamp for 4.95$ i do it at least once a week. The flat rate envelopes are free and usually just sitting out in the waiting area for you to just grab. I suggest everyone mailing under 32 ounces grab some flat rate envelopes & Priority stamps, gran some bubble mailers if you have product that might get damaged easy for extra internal flat rate letter envelopes and prepare your packages at home in privacy wearing latex gloves and dropping the envelops in random blueboxes across your local town or the next closest town. Super easy & simple guys, idk how it gets screwed up so easy.

TT is back and the listings are up again but TT's vendor profile has been changed to nothing but a public key block.  There's no mention of processing time or packaging.  I'm not sure what's up.  There has still been no response to my messages re: my previous orders that I canceled.

I guess in the grand scheme of things it hasn't been that long for me yet. I placed order last Thursday morning, had in transit by early Saturday (or late Friday), and it's now only Tuesday. I would expect to see my order by Wed/Thurs this week based on that timeline. I just hope it's actually in transit. Many of his listings still say out the door in 24 hours.

His feedback indicates not-terribly-fast shipping but good buds.

purchase a priority stamp for 4.95$ i do it at least once a week. The flat rate envelopes are free and usually just sitting out in the waiting area for you to just grab. I suggest everyone mailing under 32 ounces grab some flat rate envelopes & Priority stamps, gran some bubble mailers if you have product that might get damaged easy for extra internal flat rate letter envelopes and prepare your packages at home in privacy wearing latex gloves and dropping the envelops in random blueboxes

No, that was my point in my shipping thread. Doing what you just described means the mailers will be going First Class, not priority, with all the attention that draws. Pls read my post in shipping. I looked into this carefully w/ the P.O. website, looking up postal policies, and talking with clerks. This practice w/ SR sellers is seriously wrong and needs to be corrected ASAP.
If this is wrong then explain how I can ship coast to coast in 2 days practically everytime?

Ok this can be cleared up very easily: https://www.usps.com/ship/priority-mail-flat.htm?

Also check out the thread I posted where many vendors use this successfully every single day. As long as it's under 13 ounces then you can put it in the blue mailbox it says it clearly right on the mailboxes. "13 ounce rule" it's called, if it's under that the stamps are fine why else would they sell something called "flat rate priority stamps?" I purchase these myself, they can be bought online or at any post office.

12 1/2" x 9 1/2" Flat Rate Envelope:
$4.95 at the Post Office
$4.95 for prepaid envelope

Nomad is correct without a doubt just check out the USPS link. What people are doing is this: Using the flat rate $4.95 stamp on something besides the Flat Rate Envelope. This is wrong and would cause it to be shipped USPS 1st class instead of Priority. People assume "Flat Rate" means all boxes and envelopes have the same rate...This is wrong, the small flat rate pkg is $5.20 and the bigger boxes go up from there.

I have received a DNC and my shipment should arrive soon.  He has answered communication in the last day as well.  I have been polite and cordial and he has been likewise.

I will update once item arrives.
Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: Freeman on August 04, 2011, 02:02 am
I sent the following to TimeTraveler:

"In light of the lack of communication reported by other users, the fact that you did not ship within 24 hours as stated in your profile and the odd activity in pulling all of your listings, I've decided to cancel my orders until things seem more stable on your end."

TT replied to this and said that he shipped the items but did not update the status from "processing" to "shipping" before I canceled.  I explained that TT really should update as soon as he ships items because it lets customers know the status AND because it protects him from customers that cancel for refund while still receiving their goods.  I made arrangements to re-order so that he gets paid but some buyers may not be as honest.

Title: Re: TimeTraveler

**UPDATE**

Something weird is going on.  I just checked the DCN that TT provided and it is for my 1st order of the blueberry that I received and reviewed on 7/29 NOT for the order of northernberry and true blue that I placed and canceled due to the long processing time and lack of communication.

Well I didn't get one but I haven't been messaging TT other than initial PM's so i just asked about mine since you guys are getting DNC...hopefully me too.

Well I dunno now that I read freeman's post...gosh what's going on? If TT would just say something it would help a TON.

whew...ok...so here goes:  I placed 1 order which I received, posted feedback for, and posted a review here in this thread.  I placed a second order which I canceled after a long "processing" time.  When I contacted TT explaining why I did this, TT mistakenly thought I was referring to the first order and provided that DCN.  Everything is cleared up and other than the fact that the 2nd order took so long to process that I canceled it, no harm done.

TimeTraveller has pulled all of his listings as of now.  I hope I get the goods and they are discreet.

I didn't pull them, I was unable to log in for 48 hours , so it automatically delisted them.  They are back up now.
Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: timetraveler on August 04, 2011, 11:11 pm
Its bad business to post something that you don't have in your possession. Even if I know that ill be getting X items on tuesday, for sure, I wont post them until they are in my hands. You never know what can go wrong. Maybe that's why his posting are down.

This is based on pure speculation and isn't true.  I have all my products I list, and you can read my explaination for why they went down for a little bit.  I may take down the ounces soon to limit sales though, or raise prices , I'm flooded all the time.
Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: timetraveler on August 04, 2011, 11:22 pm
I haven't messaged him since placing order, but mine was still updated to in transit probably around the same time doobiebros was from what I can tell. Maybe he's dropping shipments every few days or so after collecting a batch of orders? Just a thought... since his feedback is all within about a day span too

Damn I should just stop speculating and just go do some pushups.

this is exactly how I do it.  I have a ton of orders roll in like every two days so I cycle though a batch , send them , then cycle though the next.  This takes up most of my time, but then there are all the messages, many of them just people who are worried, because after all your buying drugs on the internet.  on top of that, ive recently undergone a move, and arrived to a place where the internet is spotty.. which doesn't make the task any easier.

Gordo, see this thread about the priority mailers.

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=1474.0

that thread is written by someone who isn't a vendor , with a huge amount of speculation on a topic the person clearly doesn't have direct experiences in.  Although mental masturbation is interesting, that doesn't mean that there arn't hundreds of thousands of priority flat rate boxes with stamps running through the system every day unhindered.

I've personally sent thousands like this.  It's fine.
Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: timetraveler on August 04, 2011, 11:35 pm
Yes, thats why they went down.

on the stamps:

I use a 4.95 stamp with a 1.00 stamp , using the small priority flat rate box with a DCN i stick on the side.

I retain the dcn on a encrypted drive in case it doesn't show up.  I provide the dcn on request , as time allows after orders are processed.  I do not however, suggest you actually look up the dcn, especially on a tor network, but to each his own.

Everyone calm down immediately.  Everything is going to be ok.

But i understand that everyone is anxious to get their stuff.  I promise I am working, struggling to do this.

Time travler.

This is incorrect.  It is not that suspicious.  There are more packages flowing though the system like this every day than you could possibly count.  It's normalized.  It doesn't stand out.  It ships priority just fine, even with dcn's.  Ive personally sent thousands of them.

This is why you don't just put a single 4.95 stamp on the small flat rate priority box, you put an additional dollar stamp to cover the 70 cents for the DCN and the remainder will be 5.25 , enough to cover priority shipping.  ive asked many post office locations and they all say this is fine, not to mention plenty of direct experience.

I just received the oz that I ordered.  I gave it a 5/5 because OMG is it GOOD.  Sweet jesus, that is some intense, enjoyable herb!!!

Now, my only complaint is that it was not double vac sealed.  There was no smell..but if something happens during shipping and it gets crushed and punctures the bag...its intercepted.  This shit is so
stinky..my entire house smells like it.

Also, some people might complain and dock a point off for taking a bit longer than he said.  I remember back in the day when I slung weed....shit happens..sometimes it cannot get there when you want it to.  He made good and I truly appreciate it.

Finally, bitcoin has slid way down from my time of purchase.  He never contacted me asking for more bitcoins or anything.  However, I did ship him a nice tip which should cover the difference :)

I would be calm and contact the dude.  He is not trying to scam anyone but sometimes life gets in the way of "our" life :)

Thanks TT some really good dank stuff!

Ok guys I got my power kush!

Stuff was in a Mylar bag which works amazingly well. So well in fact I'm looking into them myself... it's amazing how well they contain smell leakage. But the stuff is absolutely beautiful and pungent, well worth the asking price. I'm going to edit this a little later for a more in depth review of product.

I had a good feeling about this seller from day 1 and even through the couple days of no contact.  I think TT has learned some important lessons after this 1st round of sales but when you get down to it, TT is 2 LEGIT TO QUIT!!!

Hey all, just wanted to let everyone know I FINALLY got my product on Monday (it was delivered Sat, but I was out of town...) That puts it at 2 weeks from order to delivery. Time Traveler DID message me back when he actually shipped, but that was after I sent him 3 messages. When the order arrived, the crystal was 'wet', which is not good for smoking meth. It weighed out on point, but the water def added weight and unless you cook it off in the bowl 1st it will fuck up your hit. Aside from that quality was decent, overall I think his prices are legit, but again, if your in a hurry to get your stuff go with some one else...

Also, I personally don't care if the price "makes up for it".  A low price doesn't make up for failure to meet the terms of a contractual business agreement.  I'll accept .1-.2 low as a margin of error in scale calibration but I think a good seller gives you exact weight or .1-.2 over.

I want very badly to like TimeTraveler for the variety and price.  I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but I have my theory based on how things seem.  It seems like TT may have limited capital to work with and is fulfilling orders several days after they're placed by getting from a local dispensary.  I have no proof of that and there could be 1,000,000 reasons for long delays between ordering and shipping but that's my hypothesis.

It will come through, tried a qp from him and it took 6 days to ship it out via express, and there was  a period of no communication for 3-4 days as well. it's all in the norm

i see a lot of good feedback for his weed but, only a couple for his meth.
i was going to give the meth a shot but, maybe not, after seeing the low demand of his meth and of course the high price.

I spoke too soon in my last post, cause the blueberry ended up coming on the 10th while I was gone. It was still a long wait, but if the seller doesn't ship when he marks the package in transit then it makes sense. Like others have said, it would better to mark it in transit after it's actually been shipped. Not a deal breaker, but it's something to work on. :)

Irregardless, the product was fantastic for the price. Packaging was stealth and professional. The seller seems to be a pretty cool cat overall, so I'll come back for more if the ounce/half-ounce quantities return. A little review of the bud for those who are interested:

The Smell:
Fruity-tooty with a little blueberry. Not overpowering, but present.

The Buds:
Small and fluffy, but not brittle. These buds are light green and covered in orange hairs.

The Smoke:
Very smooth with a taste that reminds me of the smell.

The High:
Blueberry is very much a creeper. I was really spacey and relaxed. It feels very indica.

Overall:
A good choice at a great price. I''d recommend it. ;D

What's the normal communicaton time with this vendor?
I shot him a message and haven't received a reply yet

I guess the normal turnaround time from him is anywhere from 4 to 11 days if im correct?

Ordered the 11th, sent the 13th and I finalized early in good faith.

Hopefully I get a reply by tonight with my DCN.

Cool it, read his FAQ/info page or the sticky above.
This is normal. Up to 9 days after, so say the 20th before you can start to worry.
Not as fast as the others.

It came in 10 days or so, but the quality and professionalism makes it well worth it. Trust me.

I ordered the Blackberry, I am very pleased with it.

Smell: very fruity with a tiny hint of earthy tones.
Taste: to me, it tasted purely earthy.

It's a very happy and uplifting high, much better thought flow. Instant head rush and a creeper knockout.

It really helps my anxiety.

Overall,
fantastic quality, great selection, good price.

hi guys!!
just wanted to let you know that the last herb i received from here was about a week ago and it was a 1/4 of timetraveler's blueberry.
im one of those people that sumtimes i look at weed and go "hm i dunno, seems legit. dunno if its KIND BUD or anything, but dude sez it is... i dunno". let me tell u summin about this fucking guys weed: as soon as i cut past the final vac seal, a fucking PUNGENT, AMAZING fruity aroma filled the air. i keep it in tupperware and it STILL does that every time i crack the container open. there is sumthing about this that feels outdoor grown. i am no expert so i dont even know what i mean by that, and im not saying thats good or bad. what i will say though is this shit is COVERED in snowy white crystals, and it smells and tastes great and unique, and of course, gets u good and proper stoned. i dont even KNOW if its sativa or indica, im such a retard, but if i had to guess just on a taste test, not knowing anything about it, i would guess it was a sativa-dominant hybrid. it took i believe 9 business days to arrive. dude makes it really clear thats gonna happen so i was absolutely fine with that. ONE SMALL/BIG PROBLEM (depending on the outcome): I know we're not supposed to discuss packaging, but I feel like this is REALLY important: while the packaging was very professional looking, with printed labels as well, all i had to do was slide Tab A out of Slot A, no tape or glue or anything, and there was the weed for the whole world to see. If there was even just one small strip of unbroken box tape over the openings, that would be SO appreciated. it just seemed way to easy for that box to accidentally pop open en route. thats my review!

thanks everyone! luv uuuuuuu

Why can't people spend 30 seconds and read his profile?
While I think it sucks he mark in transit when the package hasn't shipped, he clearly explains why.
Other vendors have the same practice, they should put their reasoning in their info page..

Then again you have vendor that mark in transit and two days later you have your package.

No body is bitching about wet, poor cured weed with big unusable stems so. I must have seen a rare package.
His lateness is legendary, and nothing he hides.
The fact is he comes through.

Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: PriscillaMarie90 on October 12, 2011, 05:23 pm
He may deliver eventually, and yeah, he says shipping takes forever on his profile.

But his listings (at least his meth listings) say PROMPT DELIVERY.

Seller:
TimeTraveler(89)

Price:
฿30.00

Ships from: USA
Ships to: USA

Description:
1 gram Crystal Meth, good quality. Prompt Delivery. Discreet packaging.

He shouldn't say prompt delivery on a listing and then say in his profile "SHIPPING TAKES UP TO 4 YEARS KISS MY BALLS, WORLD"

Has anyone tried a bulk order from TT? I placed an order more than a month ago by sending cash in the mail for an hp and have not received it yet. TT messaged me twice, a week apart asking if I got the package yet each time but I would respond that I didn't get it and request a DCN but he would not respond even though hes still shipping out others orders. I thought it'd be fine because I've ordered o's before with no problem. Anyone have any advice?

It's not our problem. It's between you and TT.
At least he is still communicating with you.

Cash in the mail? Guess I'll have to add that :(

I would suggest you NOT wage war with TT on forums.
He is by no means stupid.
Take it private, and hope he settles.

Something sounds fishy? Don't think TT would take cash in mail.

Not too long ago I ordered some PE strain mushrooms from TT. When they finally arrived (almost 3 weeks later) they were moldy and not edible. Trich-infested mushrooms can make you really sick. I live in a dry climate 1 state away from where the package was mailed from so i sincerely believe that they were moldy before they were mailed. I contacted him about this and never heard back. I left 1/5 feedback and explained what happened but I still never got a response. If he had good product I might see dealing with his obviously dick personality and lack of responsiveness but this is ridiculous. Eff TT, never again. Stay away everyone. I am not the only one that has had trouble with this vendor recently. Spend $5 more and buy from a vendor that actually values your business and your trust because TT obviously does not.

Vouch for TimeTraveler.

Granted, he was not easiest seller to buy from.  I was quite nervous when I finalized early and didn't receive my product after 2 weeks.  He marks the package as "in transit" before he actually ships, which might seem a little dishonest.  He didn't communicate at all.  Evidently, I was just paranoid.  He probably just has a ton of orders to attend to.

Today, I received my product.  The package had no smell whatsoever, with discrete enough shipping (not jaw-dropping but not sketchy).  Very well packaged inside.  I cut the container of the bag and sniffed it and it smelled dank.

Weight seems close enough.  I was lazy, and just placed the bag on my shitty chinese scale.  I think it came to 17g maybe (I don't fully remember) which seems reasonable since the bag probably weighs a couple grams.

The bud smells strange ... piney/sweet and not skunky ... I bet it's the strain (Blackberry Kush) :D

About to test.  Will post results.

Glad I stopped ordering from TT after my initial success.  Yes, some people here seem to have gotten some OK product...sometimes.

There are GREAT sellers on SilkRoad.  People that have consistently had the product in my mailbox in 3 days from start to finish.  There is no reason to dick around with assholes like TT that bring the street dealer attitude of getting around to shit when they feel like it.  You deserve a little customer service.

Rook is fantastic, consistent, professional and the price is right.  420med4u is great too, but a little pricey.

No, they don't have the laundry list of strains that TimeTraveler does.  I wish they did, but it's not realistic.

Agreed.  There are at least several fantastic cannabis vendors, and after my experience with TT and just his general attitude I see no reason to deal with him again.  I had one order from MHM (it's also kind of sketch to make a new account that is clearly you, why not just try to stop being a shitty vendor if you want better feedback) that went great, then ordered from TT and got a half oz of scrap weeds with tons of tiny seeds.  From his feedback it seems like more often than not TT delivers with a quality product, but I don't feel confident that I KNOW he will and I see no point risking my money when there are plenty of other great vendors.

Spot on.   As with any market research it thoroughly before buying.  TT and MHM have spotty records at best.   They are both scammers by nature and scam when opportunity best fits.   They're like the corporations just caring about mainly profit.  Support real vendors who seek the well being of the consumer.  Stick with the top vendors not these jokes.

Just following up here.

The Blackberry Kush is absurdly good.  You can basically see all the THC on the bud.  It's the softest, fluffiest bud ever.  The high is terrifically relaxing.  It's among the best weed I've ever had.

I was a little frustrated ordering but honestly I don't think it's fair to dismiss him based on some bad reports.  Think about it -- most people won't post about him on the forums unless they are disappointed.  The exigence just isn't there otherwise.

I haven't dealt with TT, but had an order with MHM...and let's be honest, for all intents & purposes they're one and the same.

During process, I was frustrated, delivery took way longer than it should have, I felt like I was being taken....but then the package arrived.

I opened it, sampled the goods, and all was well. Product was awesome.

I don't think I'd buy from MHM again, nor from TT for a 1st time, but shit...it's a free (black) market. You can choose to buy from them or not.

Yes, you might wait a long time and get something that might be good.  If you're that committed to buying from TT, then good for you but I'm saying that there are vendors that have excellent service, communication, and product AND can have it in your hands in less than a week.  Rook and 420med4u are tops, IMO.

Some thoughts on TT and MHM.  I do not think TT and MHM are the same.  I have ordered from both and on both occasions the herb was supreme.  Will I order from them again---yes.  The ISS from MHM was so so good that it is worth taking a chance considering that no other vendor carries it.

For non ISS strains, Anarcho47 and Rocker are my main vendors.  I am also getting ready to buy an ounce or two from christy nugs.
Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: nuggzofjazz on December 18, 2011, 01:37 pm
I have bought a couple times from timetravler. This is what I have learned:

1.  Nice menu, however these buds are NOT dispensary quality.  Just another grower growing decent buds.
2.  I believe the strains are legit, however due to not being grown, and cured correctly, they really arent anything special.
3.  His packaging is pretty good, I've seen better.
4.  Pricing is solid, and probably the cheapest on SR
5. Every time I ordered from him, it was UNDER weight.
6. He accepts MoneyPak for anyone that doesnt understand, or use BTC
7. He was always pretty prompt with replying to messages

You get what you pay for I guess.  If you're just trying to get high, then sure...order from this dude. But if you are a connoisseur such as myself, order from the likes of 420med4u, or one of my new personal favorites, christy nugs.  I have purchased pot from just about everyone that ships to the U.S. on the silk road, and while we are on the topic, I recently ordered from MarijuanaIsMyMuse, and I am still waiting on the package to show up.  But I hear good things. If you want the highest quality weed available, stick to these people.  All of their pricing is reasonable, and they ship out quick.  Show christy nugs some love!!  Shes brand new, kickin' ass and takin' orders.

Some thoughts on TT and MHM.  I do not think TT and MHM are the same.

MHM has admitted to being the wife of TT. Many of us suspect it's really just TT trying to get out from under his bad rating.
Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: doobiebros on December 20, 2011, 01:38 am
I could tell MHM was not same person as TT.  I did not know they were a married couple.

It is really hard to compare strain/high's between people.  Everyone's brain chemistry is different and the strains are grown/cured/ingested differently.  With this being said, the ISS from MHM I received was the best sample I had received on SR.  I do love ISS.
Title: Re: TimeTraveler
Post by: AverageGatsby on December 20, 2011, 02:22 am
Agreed, the ISS from MHM was the bees knees of strains, but personally I wouldn't order it again bc I know I can get better service elsewhere.

It's like buying a Range Rover (which are notorious for needing constant repairs).

Are Range's the shit? Fuck Yes.

Would I ever buy a Range? No, bc it'll always be in the shop and I know I can get just as good experience with less headaches in an X3 or ML500.

Elaborate analogy over with  :)

Nice analogy!  I will buy the ISS again because currently no one else is offering it and it was beautiful.

I could tell MHM was not same person as TT.  I did not know they were a married couple.

The 'married' thing is just something TT/MHM made up when someone called them out as the same.  Look at both vendor profiles and feedbacks, and it's pretty clear they're the same person.  I think TT probably started the MHM account hoping to get a new start, and for a while it seemed like MHM got very good feedback, but then the BS business practices started happening again.

Of course TT can run his business however he wants and he is still getting tons of orders.  But I'd rather pay another 20$ for an ounce from someone who values my business and shows it with their service.

With this vendor, you might have to wait a while.  It took about 3 weeks for my blackberry kush to arrive, but it was in the long run worth it.  Those were a couple paranoid weeks though hehe.

TT has an ugly habit of marking items as shipped before they are actually shipped.  Consequently, it might be a couple weeks before your product actually arrives, even if it's marked as in transit a day after you order it.

With TT, patience is key.

Good luck

Finally some honest advice! I am finding it real rough around here, being a connoisseur. I am truly beginning to believe the SR is only for people who can't get things in real life for whatever reason or kids 'trying to get high'. Like a wine connoisseur walking into a gas station that sells wine with the kids in the back drinking anything just to get drunk. People who don't find a seed and call it great bud, lol or people like you said just wanting to get high. Seems these are the people the SR was created for and their reviews confuse the hell out of me. I don't see many patients ordering what I have ordered at least, even though I don't have many orders. I try not to step on many toes, but I really believe either 1. people have no clue what they are selling and what good bud is or 2. they are lying and making a HUGE (and dishonest IMO) profit. When I see bud for 25$ a gram and hash fro $30-35 a gram and 5/5 reviews I automatically think medical bud! NOT the case.

Let me say I've got no problem with people wanting to make a huge profit on overpriced bud, but at least state what you're selling. Subjective this subjective that, I'm sorry but swag, beasters, dank, medicinal -to a point, its really not all that subjective. I've started just looking the other way but it's getting quite expensive.

Well, I am not a child trying to get high and I am not desperate buyer either so the SR is very very hard to navigate for the connoisseur. If you don't mind could you PM me with anyone else you recommend? I have the two you mentioned on my watch but seems they don't keep a stock regularly. It would just really help me out in my quest for the best, I planned on trying everyone and typing up a huge thing of experiences from all the MJ vendors (which i still plant to do) but it looks like you've put in the time as well. :)
