GET YOUR ASS OVER TO THE FORUMS THE 90% OF YOU WHO AREN'T REGISTERED HERE!
Doesn't have to be all caps, that's a bit obnoxious.
maybe "Only Real Pirates Are on SR Forums - YAR!"
or "In your 20s? Still Finding Yourself? I Think I Saw Him Over Here - At the Forums!"
or "All Registered Accounts That Don't Have Paired Forum Accounts Will Be Deleted Within 48 Hours, And Passed Over To The Combine"
or whatever..............
But seriously sellers start telling your buyers to register for the forums. I wish we could add signatures to our SR messaging (hey ANOTHER feature! Nesting Feature topic, how brilliant), because mine would say that...

It would be nice if all my customers were on the forums. Daily I get asked 10 things that would be answered if they went through my feedback thread.

@anozimous - I understand that's going to be fairly common. But you aren't going to be one of the customers, then, who are doing things terribly wrong or having a bitch of a time getting BTC into the site because you haven't seen the tutorial posts on the forums. My concern is that so few of us are even registered.
I don't care what it says. I just think SR Should have a Big Fat Post on the fronpage that says if you give a shit about your success on here as a buyer or seller, go to the forums now. Save yourself the scams, the headaches, get the lowdown on other sellers, etc.

I started doing that yesterday, and I"m resolved to continue: whether I lift escrow or not, to leave a note in feedback saying 'for further info, go to 'community forums' the way the link is...and, as you know, in the other thread, we're thinking maybe if we put together a real basic FAQ, and have it in the forums, then they could just have a link in SR to the FAQ, with a warning to newbies to read FAQ over here...and in FAQ we could stress the importance of forums for problems/learning... Mostly we want to hear from SR, see what he thinks...I know we agree on this one...the only people I can see who would *not* want this are those who have bad motives in mind anyway, and we don't care about them...
I don't think it would be that hard, to get a basic FAQ together, and then we could add to it, about using PGP and VM's and stuff, but mostly just basic stuff about not being conned, and finalizing when done, coming here when you have problems rather than just constant pms and bad feedback...
But yeah...maybe should combine these two threads as they're pretty similar, but either way...
