Guys-

PLEASE STAY AWAY from ApeXz and victems. Although they may be completely different people and not even related - I don't like what I'm seeing.

Please use your brainz and look at seller numbers. Generally the  higher the less trustworthy. Also, after 2 or so feedbacks like this - why did people keep buying? Already contacted admins about both of them.
Canadian mail system or not...accept no excuses that go against your gut feeling. These two are NOT legitimate sellers and are NOT up to the norm. Just look at their profiles. No PGP, all 1/5 or close feedback with almost 100% returns. That means they collected addresses, absorbed the system of the Market, and now have knowledge we don't want them to.

I agree with chronicpain that LE would not send out legit product, rather phish around for information. These guys have no idea what we have here, and they're slowly getting in...
Keep them the fuck out!

Guard Up.

I really think Barrysneaky is a scammer. I bought his feedback for .01 bitcoin but he won't finalize it. Probably because he knows he won't get a positive review. I took a chance on him and product never showed. I don't think it ever will  :'(

...I actually have heard that BarrySneaky comes through, but I have not ordered myself...either way he does transactions out of escrow - which is not safe.

@salad, i think you'll get your stuff. I just want to reiterate the lack of security when making a transaction out of escrow. This is a chance you took, but in no way did you do anything wrong.

Lots of vendors have been doing this, see the thread nomadbloodbath started in regards to this. There are a few buyers that have exceptions - as they have very trusted transaction records.

Silk Road admins are aware this is an issue with the buying and selling of feedback. I don't like it one bit, and it gives the scammers more gear to scam us out with once they have our personal info.

IF berrysneaky is legit, he is more than welcome to come here and say so. If he is legit, I will offer him my apologies..

But, until then, I think he is either a selective scammer or total... I think all legit sellers need to post here on the forums every once in awhile..

VortexMilkman - coke vendor -  never had any personal experience but he seems like a real sketch from a lot of the forums.

And Chronic another excellent thread, thanks for protecting the community not only physically with your harm reduction but now protecting our assets.

LOL, he probably only finalizes his own feed backs...That way, he will always get a good score....

I don't think this is a fair statement. What about completely legitimate sellers that just happen to be newcomers to Silk Road and this whole world? I think it is much better to look at a seller's feedback and also read about them here in the forums to assess their legitimacy rather than going by the date at which they arrived on the forum.

Higher seller number does not equal less trustworthy as a rule. Many other factors to take into account and the seller number is the least indicator of a seller's trustworthiness.

You are no longer going to be simply be able to look at a user number and tell anymore, SR has started selling the vendor accounts and they are selling for 75+ dollars, i dont see many scammers signing up to vend anymore with this in place.  I suggest doing a little research to see what experiences other people have had with the vendor, the forums are an excellent place for this  (i am sure if your reading this you are already intelligent enough to search the threads for your vendor) and checking their rating on the market place.

If a vendor has no reviews, send them a PM, you can tell a lot about a vendor by how they respond to your messages.  If you are still leery ask to buy a sample, most vendors will take the sale even if they arent making the full profit they could because they hope you will return for more business and they hope if you have a good experience you would take the time to leave good feedback.  If a seller takes the time to create a custom listing for you, you can take 30 seconds and leave something on the forums in return for them.

You are correct, I mean to say the member number on SRM is a factor of trustworthiness. I should have rephrased that. Feedback and forum information is just as important, you're right.

My number is in the 15000 range and I think that Im reputable.. I think the  major difference with seller numbers high is 1. do the have good feeback (or lack of negative feed back) that doesn't look fake. 2. Do they post here on the forums? 3. do they have a gpg key? If they meet all 3 criteria, I would give a new seller a shot.

Also, trust your gut instinct. If it doesn't smell right, stay away...

I always check forums first.  Any opiate seller there is usually a thread started, and if there isn't, I'll start one.  The reputable sellers end up posting on their threads, too.  Other drugs I don't know as much about, so I don't get involved.

If it's new seller, I insist on escrow, and start small anyway.  It's no thrill to me to get order cancelled, as if they are new, I presume it is LE harvesting addresses.  PGP is always a good sign, but sadly, often rare with new sellers.

But as with today's opana seller, I don't like what I read, and price is too high, so I'll wait.  I've avoided the 3 sellers mentioned here, and appreciate the threads--including this one--as I"ve spent enough time waiting on legit sellers, hate to think of waiting a week or so, only to find out they aren't legit...

Wait what happened with direwolf exactly?
I've never really had a problem with him other than it being a nightmare to ship sublingal pills thru the mail and them not breaking.

That harvesting address is pointless according to me. What LE can do with it? Nothing, US is big country, numerous states. It does not prove anything and nobody should worry about that. That way anybody could use phone book.
Do you really think that after that address would be monitored? Come on..on what grounds?

@mseller I know it doesn't seem like a lot to worry about - but it gives LE a point to start, which is exactly what we don't want them to have. Think about it, if they have one more piece of information, they can make a bust. The grounds are not to be guessed, LE will make their own....point in case ApeXz....look at this motherfucker's feedback - coming in a strong 39%. http://ianxz6zefk72ulzz.onion/index.php/silkroad/user/13784

I've been in contact with the SRM admins about him and they do not like the smell of it. I know it sounds paranoid to some - but better paranoid than this whole place crumpling due to some LE fuck getting information.

There is an exploit for everything. Guard up at all costs here.

BTW I'm supposed to be getting a little handful of roxy 30's today from goodfella 1(http://ianxz6zefk72ulzz.onion/index.php/silkroad/user/17790). I started a thread about him in the rumor mill, but was honestly really surprised there wasnt one already going, as his prices are good for S.R. and he has a slew of positive feedback on the market end... I'm all good and paranoid now b/c I was checking USPS tracking via Tor, and then I saw all these panicky threads saying dont do that so.... that sucks. Will update my goodfella1 thread if/when the goods arrive in the next couple hours here. Maybe drp2p can put a satanic curse on LE so they dont bust up my nice plans for the day? ;)  ~smod

If Barrysneaky can sell his own "feedback" then why won't some honest sellers offer similar feedback services for known (strongly suspected) scammers?
I'd pay a few bitcents to see real feedback sitting right next to the fake stuff.

I get the 'theory' behind selling feedback, for sellers that bypass escrow, selling feedback is a way to ensure they get feedback, good or bad, so buyers can see.  So when these guys explain it this way, I have some sympathy.  I have the same dilemma: I'm willing to bypass escrow for sellers who've done me right in the past, but they and me both benefit if I can leave feedback, so selling it cheap, is just a way to ensure that.  The other way isn't as much to their advantage, but it's just me 'finalizing' product as soon as it's 'shipped' and that way seller gets reimbursed quickly, and I just post "trusted shipper, finalized early" which I've done a few times.

This system probably still needs some tweaking, so sellers get finalized a lot quicker, and I think the feedback needs to be simplified, and more like just up or down (arrived or didn't arrive, on time) and post details in forums.

I see nothing wrong with putting up a listing for "out of escrow transaction - leave feedback" or something like that.  I have one - I had 2 customers ask me to cut them a deal if they went direct-buy, and I said sure, but only if you leave a feedback that states we did this out of escrow and it was still brilliant.  And post it in my review topic in the forums too.

It's still a legitimate transaction, and should be in full view of the community regardless of whether or not it is under SR escrow protection - actually moreso since this is a riskier transaction buyer-side.  I think it's essential to a good seller's arsenal.

WTF? I just read this! Anyway just to clarify things on my behalf. I never received an order from this user and all the orders I've received for the sublingual strips were shipped, arrived at their destinations and were finalized and feedback was left, as you can all see... I havent had many orders. For whatever reason this user thinks I never shipped his order... Well maybe it's a good thing he/she needs to detox and lay off the opiates. Anyhow for everyone who reads this I want you to know that I AM NOT A SCAMMER! I am here to be part of the community and not fuck people over specially with a product such as mine which provides a healthy way of life and relief/comfort to all those who suffer from the beautiful yet deadly effects of opiate abuse. If anyone is interested, I will have more product shortly so keep an eye out. Thank you all who read this and sorry dude if I fucked up your order, I truly am. Peace.

no, we rely on a little bit of both ;)
