Title: How do I convert my existing listings to HEDGED
Post by: performance on July 10, 2011, 05:19 pm
How do I convert my existing listings to use the new hedging feature? It would be great if I could just type in the USD price into an edit box and click a button.

you peg your listings to the USD value of BTC in your account settings.  You still have to write in the value but when you do your listing just divide the USD price you want by how much it's worth in BTC (i.e. if you want something to sell foe $25 you currently would divide it by 13.64, so your llisting would be at 1.83 BTC.

Also that is where you enable escrow - there is a breakdown of how it works in the seller's guide.

an order is hedged or not the moment it is shipped (confirm shipment button). So, if you change your setting to hedge your escrow account, all future orders will be hedged, but ones that have already been shipped unhedged won't be.
