Title: "Item" in Seller Feedback
Post by: fatjudas69 on July 05, 2011, 06:52 pm
I've notice that once a product is no longer listed, the "item" button on the feedback page is useless.  This makes it easier to manipulate buyer feedback(see vortexmilkman). Also, it would be kinda nice to see what all the fuss is when someone rates something awesome/terrible. Even though the seller might have other items for sale, that particular product that caused its feedback cannot be traced.

Also, if the seller has separate shipping, that's two feedbacks for the same deal. Just saying...

If you are a seller just message the customer to actually name the product in the feedback (i.e. that Bubba was awesome, pacakaging was great).

The item wipeout for one-off's is kind of shitty from a prospective customer perspective, but at the same time you want as little of a trail of evidence as possible.  Half of my orders so far have been customs, where someone will message me for 2g of on strain, 2g of another and 1/8 of mushrooms, so I have to build a single listing from scratch for them.  My generic listings have been up since I started selling, though, and people can link through feedback to those.

Just depends on the situation as a seller.
