If you are located in US, MTGox is offering direct bank deposits at several major banks. (Chace and another one I can't remember off hand)All you have to do is fill out the deposit form on mtgox and take it in with you when you do your cash deposit. No ID required.Cavirex in Canada offers the same thing, avaiable at RBC and CIBC branches. No ID required either.Best of all, if you do this in the morning the money is usually there in just a couple of hours. Takes the mystery out of handing over a moneypak number to someone and risking them not transferring BTC.I wonder if tradehill will do that. Do direct deposits. Problem with get-bitcoin, is it's only for immediate exchange...you can't have dollars sit there, cuz you don't get an account. But if a major xchange would allow bank directDeposit, rather than the tedious wait of dwolla and such, that would be pretty interesting...EDIT: No, I just checked, and here's what it says:"CASH DEPOSITS We ARE NOT TAKING IN PERSON CASH DEPOSITS because our bank doesnt require the ID of the depositor and thus we will not know it is you whom deposited it."And that's the bummer, as I agree: get-bitcoin deposits don't ask for i.d. ...I thought that was a *good* thing :) Why would they give a shit? It's *deposit*That's weird because about a week ago they were specifically saying you don't need to provide ID, just match the last two digits of your transaction amount (in cents) with the last 2 digits of your account, along with the specific form. (i.e. deposit to Acct# 123442 of $500.00 would be $500.42). Must have JUST changed it.Shitty. That was sweet while it lasted.
