Title: EnterTheMatrix
Post by: aussiegear on February 26, 2013, 07:11 am
*clear net*

looks like he made the news
http://www.theage.com.au/technology/technology-news/underweb-anger-as-silk-road-seller-does-a-runner-20130226-2f36q.html

for those of you who are unaware, top 1% seller and australias biggest vendor went rouge this week and made off with maybe $40k through running a 'sale' and asking buyers to FE

i talked to him a few weeks back. at that point i could pretty confidently say that he had no plans of exiting any time soon and was running a very tight ship

on top of this, 2 other australian vendors have gone rouge, and one other has shut up shop

paranoia is setting in, to say the least

I thought it was odd to shut up shop so abruptly, then I realised that he would have planned it like that. A couple of convos with people like yourself and also a few posts he made in the weeks before going rogue I think show he was trying to squash any scam accusations about him asking FE for his final sale. Who were the other aussie vendors that went rogue?

FWIW I think a lot of people decided to can the SR dream at years end realising it was more work than it was worth, nothing to be worried about.

Yeah I always figured those guys were bikies or something. They had a big inventory and would had to have had a fair few people in on it, not to mention they sold horribly cut product from what I am told. Halfbaked isn't rogue just needs to get it together

It def seems odd so many vendors went off the radar the same weekend though, don't know what to make of it really.

Don your tin foil caps gentlemen/women.  ;D

People that fell for this its on there own head. ETM was known for prices that where ridiculous compared to the competition and would never drop it that low while asking for FE?z. It's shit he went out this way but it was always going to happen. Hopefully the amount of effort going into catching Australian vendors drops with the fall out of some of the bigger hitters.

He had 500 tabs for $4,000? Get the fuck out of here.
